522 DVR tv2 UHF problems

Any Ideas ,my TV2 looses signal to remote and if you reset by unplugging and replugging it works fine.My TV #1 is set to channel #3 & TV#2 is set to channel #116 .it is set to cable and all addresses for remotes are correct.it just quits receiving signal.I did notice the installer removed the 3rd prong for the equipment ground on the pug would that do it or is it posssibly messing up when recording a show .Any ideas would be helpful.it seems to be happening daily.

no prob what is happening is that the range for the remote is to far
what ya need to do is either run a cable from the uhf port prob bout 4ft long and put the attn on the other end just to make the attn longer.
that should fix it.

Nope thats not the problem unless you reset it it wont turn it on and off right next to the receiver .thanks anyhow.when reset works perfect until it wont recognize it again then the thing donsnt work at all

Have you tried adjusting your modulated output on TV2 to another channel? I typically will used Ch. 73 on cable mode, or Ch. 21 on antenna mode.

no i havnt i could try that.just change it in the set up 6-1-5-right and turn the tv to that channel no change in address correct?

Triedchanging channels on tv2 and still did it any other Ideas?
