Anyone else finding that the "auto tune" timers (ie change to x channel but NOT record) aren't working with the latest updates (have 3.66 on mine). I have one set up for the morning when my TV turns on (I use it as an alarm clock), but it seems like it hasn't worked correctly in several weeks. Tried erasing it and recreating it but that didn't do any good either.

Dish has changed a lot of their software programing on the dvr's over a dispute with Tivo in a court battle. This could be your problem. Try deleting your timers and then do a soft reboot by holding down the power button on the front of the receiver for about 10 seconds and then it should reboot. Install your timers again. I hope this works for you. I have a 510 as well in my bedroom. This is what I did and it seems to have fixed the problem with my timers. I also lost a lot of recorded programing when all this started. I too use the 510 as an alarm clock. Good luck I hope this works for you.:up
