My 508 has been stuttering on playback for the last few days. Happens several times each hour. It doesn't seem to matter if it is live or a recently recorded program.
Older programs on the disk do not exhibit this, which leads me to believe it is happening either in the receiver itself, or in the disk write process.
Has anybody else experienced this failure? Can I expect total meltdown soon? Is this just something that DISH is sending out in the data stream? I guess it is time to start capturing the stuff I have saved onto DVD.
