I hear ya there. I'd be nice to at least get the finale of 24 in HD this season. I've asked several times, and all I get is "We'll check on it and let you know".

Yeah...luckily I can pick up KPTM OTA, so I *can* watch Fox in HD, but with their "stupid scheduling tricks" related to AI, it's been really annoying to schedule other shows around them. Once it's in HD on dish, with the OTA +2 tuners to record on, I could care less if they want to run it 5 minutes long or 50...

I'm in Aurora, which is at the edge of both 4 and 17's signal with my HD antenna. I have no luck with either. I just want that channel in HD - it's the last of the channels I watch regularly that I don't get in HD.

Looked on my account at Dish and it shows all the new HD channels avail for AK. They changed the channel numbers from the last uplink and show them all in order now from 5501 thru 5555. Did a check switch and reloaded the program guide but still have the old lineup.

I'm guessing that's because they haven't made any of those changes shown above "available" yet (see the NA to the right of the AK HD's). I'm hoping that they'll do another uplink here soon that will turn on all of those changes they made...

I noticed that as well. I hope it is just a temporary glitch, and will be fixed in a later (today) uplink

Spotbeams usually have 2 or more transponders in them. Spotbeam 36 happens to have 9,11,13,14,15,16 inside of it.

I suspect that they might be moving some cities to different uplinks. That way they can add all the HD channels eventually with one uplink for that DMA. The vacated spot space could be used for added channels in other DMAs.

Cool, I've been wondering how that would be handled. I hope they left spaces in the numberingfo slipping in premiums, etc. I can't figure out how to see the channel info you are talking about for my account.
