I will soon add Dish to all my TV locations (5 TVs plus home theater). Currently, just one TV is attached to the Hopper 3. I have RG-6 run to all locations. My understanding is that the 4k Joey will play the HD content fine but not the channel 540 HDR content; while the Joey 4 will play HD and HDR content from Dish. I have never watched channel 540 so this is not an issue. I also understand that the Joey 4 allows streaming services (does this require the hopper plus to work?). Since all the TVs are smart TVs I don't need this feature either except for the home theater projector but there are other options to add streaming apps input into the projector. So, is there a reason to opt for the Joey 4 over the 4k Joey? If the monthly fee is the same for both and there is no fee for the Hopper Plus, does it just make sense to use Joey 4s anyway as that would solve the streaming issue to the projector. Thanks in advance for the help!
