4K Rio channel 146 coming over at 1080i

I have never watched 4K content on my hopper 3 but I do have a 4K TV. I have my hopper connected to a 4K @60fps HDMI port. The tv settings on the hopper are set to 4K,1080p, 1080i video resolution. On my TV it says the input feed is 1080i. What am I doing wrong?

I have an older HMDI cable maybe that is the problem

Just go to PIP and select MultiView. Does your TV set switch to 4K?

It could be the cable. Also, check your TV set's manual and make sure you are using the HDMI port that supports 4K and HDCP 2.2.

Most likely a cable problem, 4k needs high quality cables such as Blue Jeans.

Elsewhere I saw a report that per Dish CSRs there is a know issue with the 4k feed.

Ok going to PIP and selecting multi works the TV is showing that I am in 4K

OK now the Rio Channel is working too. I didn't do anything freaking crazy.
