42in Plasma 1080?

I have had 2 42 in sets so far one was a LG that was a ED and now i have a 42 inch sony lcd that im assuming is max at 720, even thought i run my dtv h10 at 1080i (yes the picture is noticable better running on 1080 than on 720) But im wondering i have the choice of either keeping the sony lcd (lcp) which i do not like the having to be directly in front of it to keep the picture clean, or getting a Philips 42PF5321D Plasma.. This Hd stuff is new to me and i want to get someone who has alot of experience in it. Out of those 2 sets which one would you choose? the sony lcd (lcp) or the Phillips Plasma?

The plasma has most likely a resolution of 1366x768. The picture on plasmas do better at an angle. You could try the plasma and see if you like it.
