I tried installing the dish 1000 with my 411 receiver and ran into a problem getting in the 129 satellite. I'm running the latest software for the 411 L2.61 and the point dish installation screen only gives you the option of choosing dish 300, 500 or Superdish and no dish 1000.

I had the same issue when choosing dishes when I installed my 942. I just chose superdish, and 110, 119, 129, and 61.5 all showed up when I did the checkswitch.

I don't think it's an alignment issue. Aligned everything according to instructions.
I tried turning to dish 500 and superdish and doing a check switch. It won't recognize the 129 satellite. Hooking directly into the 129 lnb, I couldn't get any signal from any transponder on 129. I'm going to check and see if I possibly have a bad lnb tomorrow.

I had a tree problem with 129, but when I moved it a few feet I got 129 to come in with my 811. Just make sure you get 119 solidly in and then run the check switch and make sure your 1000 is recognized as a DPP-Twin-2. don't choose either superdish or alternate and it should come in after you run the check switch. If necessary unhook your sat cable and run a checkswitch so it goes through all the different switches and then hook it back up and run it again.
