since the 410 from skyvision comes set up for w5 only, is that the only sat that will give me green or will I get it from others too? could be a real time saver if it was just w5.

The 410 from Skyvision is set up ONLY for W5. That will give you a green lite when aiming a dish

yes, just got the dish on the pole saturday waiting for the wind to go so I can play.

Yes the 6 ft Fortec works well. What LNBF did Skyvision send you? I bought the Geosat on Ice's recommendation form sat av.

bsc421, seems kind of cheap, but I got to start somewhere.

I didn't order the whole thing from Skyvision. I just got the 410 from them. The dish came from sadoun and the LNBF came from sat av. I like the Geosat LNBF I have two of there ku bullets they work very well. So on Ice's recommendation I got the Geosat C band unit. I never had a BSC so I can't comment but should be okay.

I just wish the lnbf and the ring were a better fit. I think for what im doing it should be fine. I'll find out if the wind will let me, maybe tomorrow.
