3500s remote control

Has anybody experienced remote control problems with the pansat 3500s?

It went from working to working only when pointed directly at the receiver to not working at all.

Is it sucking batteries or is there another issue?

I would have posted this in the review section but the thread is closed.

try the batteries but yes I had a remote issue

Where my Pansat 1500 is located is on top of my entertainment system and the remote worked fine but when I put the 3500 in the same spot, the remote wouldnt work unless I aimed the remote higher than my head

I did try changing the batteries.
turns out I had the receiver at the top of my entertainment rack.
just like Iceberg...

It does work when holding the remote over your head... but my arms get tired...

3500 Remote

Move the 3500 forward until you have a clear view of the bottom edge of the 3500. I had to move the 3500 until it was even with the front of the entertainment center.

mine sat on top of the entertainment center (on top of the VCR and the analog unit)

The 1500 worked fine there for 18 months but the 3500 would not

Mine won't work (at all) with my JVC D series TV. Its strange because the TV in my bedroom is a JVC D first addition and it works. The one in the rec room is a JVC D iART model, and no go. I tried every code, incl the VCR, DVD, etc ones.
