Total Noob question,

Will a 301 work with a Super Dish, I would like to buy one for my son for his room?

Yes, a 301 will work on a SuperDish. You can connect up to four receivers/tuners to a DP-34 switch in which connects to a SuperDish. If you need more than four receivers/tuners you will need to buy another DP-34 switch to connect (cascade) to the first DP-34 switch. No DishPro Adapter is required for the 301 receiver.
