Hi guys. I'm in Cincinnati, OH, currently with the 5 LNB slimline. I'm looking at getting another dish for tailgating, and I want to be able to watch HD on the road. I'll be staying local, so spotbeams aren't an issue. There's a pretty big price difference between a 3LNB (99 101 103) dish, and the 5 LNB dishes. I've checked the transponder charts sticky post, and they say my HD locals are on 99, and standard stuff on 101.

My question is, what is there on 110, 119 that I would actually need? Are there any national HD channels on 110 or 119? It is my understanding that aiming the 3 LNB is a lot simpler than the 5 LNB.

Thanks

The only thing on 110 and 119 are internationals and some standard def locals. There is no HD on there that is not on 99/103.

wanderingstar,
Have you looked into upgrading your Sony lately ?
Reason I'm mentioning is the Sony only handles mpeg2 transmission and all the new HD is in mpeg4 and your rec does not handle mpeg4.
