Great, Cornerstone is a good one, I wish there was someway i could get faithTV?

Here's hoping :)

With Sky Angel leaving in a few days (3/31) we might be seeing more on Glorystar/G25/AMC4

(like the one you are testing :)).

I know. I have the review to do still. Too bad the dang weather hasn't cooperated. Either its been windy, cold, or in the case of tomorrow...snowy :(

But I will get have it up soon...promise :)

I know what you mean. The weather has been up and down like a roller coaster. It was snowing for an hour or so tonight here in Columbus. Nothing but good days are ahead of us (satellite hobbyists :D).

I noticed a spike in signal meter sales lately. Most people are waiting for good weather to tweak their dishes :).

So, are you anticipating more Sky Angel channels coming to G25? Does G25 have the capacity?

Now, you're just making me feel guilty.
It was maybe 74º and dry here today.
Though I was thinking of doing some dish work this afternoon, I fell asleep instead. - :(
...well, with all that good video, it's hard to get to bed before 4am! - ;)

74...heh maybe in late May here :)

Today its suppose to be 38 or snow but tonight through tomorrow night...somewhere between 3-7 inches of snow :(

Ahhh the joys of living in Minnesota

48 yesterday and no snow on the deck and most of it melted on the ground. Only spots were they plowed previously

Last night at 10:30 when I went to bed...no snow
This morning when I woke up at 4:00...no snow
woke up at 8:00 to see this on the deck

apparently it started at 5:00ish....sad part is the weather guys said "3-6 in the south metro (south suburbs) by 6PM tonite...well these pics were at 9:00 this morning and we've had 3 inches since then. I've already shoveled it off twice. The stuff is so heavy when you clear the top part of the snow off you could use a squeegee to get the rest.

Had to climb on the ladder and get the snow that was on my FTA dish on the roof....wondered why I had no signal even on DBS ;)

I feel for you guy!

I hope those days are over for this year here.

Was in the 60's yesterday and today both, but cooler and rainy for through Sunday Night. Mid 40s during the days. Rain not supposed to start until tomorrow night.

Iceberg, do those dishes function with that much snow on them, or do you have to clear the snow off for a good signal? Looks like a large build-up of the stuff between the reflectors and LNBFs, along the LNBF support arms.

If it was powdery snow, yes it would have worked fine. But this was the heavy wet snow that pretty much nuked ALL signals :(

I cleaned off the dishes on the deck and all signals came back but the motorized on the roof I had nothing. No KU no DBS. Found about an inch of wet snow on that dish...cleared it off and signal came back :)

We got about 10 inches here....and they said if it was the powdery stuff (which we would have got had the weather been colder) probably would have been 2 feet of snow

Interesting that the powdery accumulations seem to pass the signal whereas slush doesn't :) Must have something to do with molecular arrangement...

Wet snow is denser, with higher water content than powdery snow. An exaggerated analogy would be like comparing mist and a torrential downpour.

Just another way to experience rain-fade! :D
