21.0 Remote learning problem.

My Insignia Blue Ray DVD player does not have a code for the 21.0 remote so I must have it learn all the keys I need to use. I follow the directions to learn the keys, most are learned but there is always one or 2 of the keys which are not functional on the 21.0 remote. When I relearn all the keys again it is a different 1 or 2 keys that don't function. This is in spite of the fact that at the time of learning each key was confirmed by the 21.0 remote as learned. I called Dish advanced support and asked if there was a limit to the number of keys the 21.0 can learn. They said there was no specification on that. Has anyone had this problem and found an answer? Or, does anyone know for sure there is a limit to the number of keys that can be learned?

Thanks Dnero for the link,
But, code 507 does not work nor does a short press of the recall button followed by a long press of record. The DVD light never comes on. It seems the only way to add buttons to a learned device is to enter all again.
