That could be true too. It may all be a ploy to try to separate him from his dad's bad press until after he is drafted. At least he's in on the joke now.

I mostly keep to my regional teams and college sports. I don't follow a ton of national sports coverage, but this may be the first time I've actually heard Lonzo talking. Even with as little as I follow ESPN and FS1 I have heard lots from Lavar. I certainly haven't heard Lonzo running his mouth off the way his dad constantly does. There is a chance that's because he's not like his dad. His dad had the whole country rooting against him and maybe this is him taking the opportunity to tell us he knows his dad is crazy. I'll admit that there is just as much chance that this is just another marketing attempt by the Ball family too.
