But this against Jacksonville St.
If Auburn does win.....would be the few this season.
I was watching Michigan and Oregon State during the majority of this game. I did watch most of the 4th Qtr though. From what I saw they couldn't stop the read option. I'm sure a few other teams could exploit that same weakness if they don't make an adjustment.

The other problem was the QB. He made a few really impressive throws but he also threw some terrible interceptions.

Yep. Totally agree. Johnson has trouble reading defenses. Just like last week.
Jacksonville St. clearly the better team.

Notes Dame's QB, Malik Zaire, went down with a nasty leg injury and had to be carted off the field. If he is out for any significant amount of time it will be a major blow for ND.

Wheres Golsten when you need him ?

He would be a great option to have right now. The backup actually stepped up big today and won it in the two minute drill though. Hopefully Zaire doesn't miss much time but if he does the backup has a great arm. He's just missing the experience.

10 SEC teams in the top 25 including the entire SEC WEST. I was wondering, how many ranked teams played another ranked team in week one?

Today shows why the early season polls mean nothing. Auburn needed overtime to beat a FCS school and Toledo out of the MAC West took down Arkansas from the SEC West.

Just heard Notre Dame's quarterback is out for the season. Damn, that really puts a damper on my hopes for this year.

Yes, this was the same Arkansas coach that bitched about the Buckeyes schedule .... now his team loses to a MAC team Go TOLEDO !
Beilma conveniently FORGOT where he came from, seeing he played that SAME schedule OSU did for his time in Wisconsin.

Don't have to worry about the SEC West beating each other up, they did it to themselves this weekend with Aubarn and Arkansas. Once the Miss schools remember who they are, won't be much left in the West beyond Bama and LSU.

Georgia looked unimpressive against Vandy, gonna be a long year for the Dawgs. Looks to be a down year for the SEC as a whole.

The Michigan State and Oregon game looks like it's gonna be a good one. Lots of action from both teams so far.

Auburn and Arkansas look like pretenders.....at best.
Your saying LSU who hasn't played a game are contenders??
I guess you think Texas A&M still plays in the SWC
Ole Miss looks like the real deal so far.
Though I wouldn't count on or out anyone (look at tOSU last year) except the Tigers and Hogs up to this point.

Oklahoma just finished off a big comeback in double overtime against Tennessee. There have been a lot of great finishes in college football today.

LSU up 14-3 at the half against Miss St.
