Cleveland's schedule looks very winnable through Thanksgiving:

Week 1 home against a potential dumpster fire team in the Bengals
Week 2- at Indy with no Manning)
Week 3- home against a Miami team with QB and RB issues
Week 4- home against a schizo Tennessee team
Week 5- BYE
Week 6- at an Oakland team sans Nnamdi, Zach Miller, and Gradkowski
Week 7- home against a Seattle team that struggles on the road
Week 8- at San Fran with the unimpressive Alex Smith
Week 9- at Houston in a tossup game
Week 10- home against St. Louis in another game that could go either way
Week 11- Home to a Jacksonville team that suddenly has QB woes

Holy cow! That schedule is so soft, it needs frosting!

You somehow forgot to mention that the Browns face Pittsburgh and Baltimore 4 times in the last 5 weeks! I have no idea what the schedule makers were thinking.

Wishful thinking .....

Go Steeler's !!!

Steeler's Troy Polamalu signed a 4 year deal with the team .... said he wasn't panning on going anywhere, but is glad to have it done with.

Polamalu is ONLY 30, I thought he was much older than that, he's been around for quite awhile now !

I'm glad they signed him, there was speculation that because of his age, I wish I was 30 again, they were going to let him go like Rod Woodson.

Hell, he's still young ... if he stays healthy, he will show that he's well worth the money and years.
Polamalu said he wasn't going anywhere.

Lions beat the Bucs 27-20. They got of to a slow start in the 1st quarter but they got going and got their biggest lead in the 3rd at 27-13. The Bucs scored a touchdown with a couple minutes left in the 4th to make it 27-20 and it got a bit scary in the last minute, but the lions held on and pulled through. Looking forward to next week when the Lions face the Chiefs at home in Detroit. Hell if the Bills can cream the Chiefs, I'm sure the Lions will literally kill them, right?:D

Well...enjoy this weeks win. ;-)

I am sure Chiefs fans were assuming the same thing today when they played a supposedly lesser Bills team.

Nice to see the Lions win an opener...although they tried their best to let Tampa back into the game. I think we'll handle KC at home next week.

So ....what the NFL could not give you in exciting games as compaired to college football...they gave it to you in eye opening upsets... WOW!
I know, right..... It was like, "forget what you THOUGHT you knew about football !" LOL

IMO, the only team that gets a mulligan from the early game surprises is the Steelers. Everything else I saw is a total crapshoot going forward.
