they wont go anywhere unless they leave town. Its all a threat to get a new stadium built. The lease on the dome for the Vikes was for 30 years and that ended today. BUt they make it sound like the Vikes are being evicted when they aren't. Last I checked they could easily sign a 1 year lease or even go without one and just on a handshake until they figure out if a new stadium is built
wont happen. TCF only holds 50K and really wasnt built to handle the cold in December (no heat in concourses or in concession stands....even Target Field has heat in the concourses).
I also think Raheem Morris goes too which is suprising because I thought that the Bucs liked him but after today, I doubt it. I mean your down 42-0 in the first half? You also know that the game is going to most of the country and you get embarrassed like that?
Upgrading and remodeling TCF for the later and colder NFL season would be cheaper than building a new stadium though.

While I agree the Vikes dont want that...Not a lot of parking near "The Bank" and dont want to play 2nd fiddle again (they were second fiddle in the Dome lease..the Twins were 1st)
