wow... Suh suspension without pay will cost him at least $165,000! He has been fined 3 times in 15 months and was able to avoid a fine twice. Sound like a pretty good history to me.

I propose a new rule. Anyone who stomps on another player or person while participating in a sporting event will result in an additional fine and suspension levied against Christian Laettner too. That will solve the issue I'm sure.

:haha

Right there with you!

lots of talk today on who will break marinos record of over 5,000 yds in a single season. you got rodgers, brady and brees all on there way to doing this. but much like when manning broke marinos single season TD record of 48 and brady currently holds that record at 50, people forget that marino did both in 1984 (most yards and td's)and in a league that was tougher on offenses than the pass happy QB protecting league we have today. i think its still one of the most spectacular seasons i've ever seen by a QB who was pretty much a rookie. and did it with two WR's who were good but not hall of fame good. personally if there's one QB i'd like to see take the yards record it is Rodgers. and by the end of his career i hope he has all the significant records.

I don't think the loss of money will affect Suh. Rodney Harrison said it best:

Speaking over the weekend on NBC, longtime NFL safety Rodney Harrison said he didn't begin to curb his style until he started missing games as a result.
"I was a young player once and I was very prideful and arrogant, just like Ndamukong Suh," Harrison said. "But I didn't learn until the commissioner handed me a suspension. Then I really understood the impact of what it did to my teammates in that locker room."

The Colts hae fired defensive coordinator Larry Coyer and replaced him with linebackers coach Mike Murphy.

Also, the Colts have announed that Dan Orlovsky will start at QB, Sunday at New England.

That game may set a point spread record. It's currently set at 21....

Poor Dan Orlovsky! What has he ever done to deserve this?

He started 7 games back in 2008, for the 0-16 Lions. And now he just might get the Colts to the finish line 0-16!!

Hopefully this time to doesn't try to complete a pass after stepping out the back of the endzone.

Hey, he's better off giving up only 2 points, instead of a pick-6.....

That game against the Vikes was the closest they got to winning that year (and probably would have)

wiki
The Lions traveled to Minneapolis in week 6 to take on the Minnesota Vikings. In the first quarter, Detroit's misery continued as Orlovsky unintentionally ran out of the back of his endzone, giving the Vikings a safety. In the second quarter, the Lions got the lead as kicker Jason Hanson got a 40-yard field goal. In the third quarter, Detroit increased its lead as Orlovsky completed a 12-yard TD pass to WR Calvin Johnson. However, Minnesota answered when QB Gus Frerotte completed an 86-yard TD pass to WR Bernard Berrian. In the fourth quarter, the Vikings sealed the win when kicker Ryan Longwell nailed the game-winning 26-yard field goal.

Dan Orlovsky's run out of the end zone for a safety topped the list of ESPN's Not Top 10 of 2008.
