2010-11 NBA Basketball Season

Looks like UTAH plans to make things dicey for EVERYONE. They are about to beat Orlando IN Orlando, they lead 98-91 with 45 seconds left in the game. Milsap has 24 points. Deron Williams has 24 as well.

FINAL: Jazz win 104-94.

Utah, NO, and Boston didn't contain them and they still won. How will you contain Kobe? Oh wait, you can't.

Davis and Shaq combined for 21 points. Neither are an offensive threat, but against the Heat, both can be all stars. Sorry you are sipping the kool aid and don't realize the team is weak. Hence the losses

LOL! It took Davis and TWO O'Neils to get 21 points.....THREE GUYS...and you are tooting their horn as a monster game....3 GUYS??!! LOL! :haha:haha:haha

I will let you get ALL excited about the regular season.....

Jermaine O'Neal didn't do anything. Sorry.

And neither did Shaq.... 9 points....
the fact that the Heat gave up 9 points indicates they have no post presence. Shaq shouldn't be able to get 9 points and grabbing 7 boards when he is playing a measly 18 minutes. But then again, you have Chris Bosh and Joel Anthony as your starting big men.

Apparently you must be seeing LAKER games ONLY because that was his average last year. Shaq's numbers and skills may have dimished, but he is STILL the hardest player in the NBA to handle because of his size and weight. Also, IF he was a vital part of the offense where he was getting at least 10-15 touches a game...we could easily score 14, 15, 16 points a game.

...even on your beloved LAKERS front line....;-)

He had 18 minutes. He just dominated Joel Anthony twice on the same possession. The Heat will be extremely lucky to win the eastern conference.

Forget the conference- I think they'll be in a three-way dogfight with the Magic and Hawks in their own division.

Interesting that Reggie Miller said that Paul Pierce was "looking at the Heat players in disgust", and the Celtics were playing with a chip on their shoulder.............

Why you calling him out? The same can be said for most people on this board!

Last year, in a Pistons/Cavs game, Cleveland had a huge deficit in the second quarter and he said 'any bets?' The Cavs came all the way back to win the game.

Also, consider what the Jazz have done their last two games- they were down big in the first half, but came back with monster second-half rallies.

Basketball is a game where no deficit can be too insurmountable, and that the game isn't over until the final buzzer.

And I agree 100%, but my point is, most people thump their chests on here when their team is doing good.

Hell, I'm just giddy about this Celtics team myself right now (AND NOT JUST BECAUSE OF TONIGHT)! ;)

There's another game tonight, but it's not much of one- Golden State is losing by 35 in the third quarter at Chicago!

I think a starting five of any of us SatGuys members could have done a better job on defense.

The Warriors are an entertaining offense with a matador defense, and that is hardly a recipe for winning.

Crying all the way to the bank
