Sweet words, Bill and I thank you. Tough, tough loss. God knows I've been there. I am in shock that they did it this "easily". The Yanks or Twins will be tough to beat but we'll see how much this support from "beyond" will bring us.
I was out all day so didn't see the game, but did get several text of the outcome.

Twins just couldn't seem to get it into gear. Woulda been a great story, there. Looks like it's gonna be on us to shut down the Yanks. Did anyone else get a chil in the bottom of the 9th when the bulpen door in left field opened up and Torii had to go close it? I ain't superstitious, but........
From the perspective of this site, the ALCS is a matchup of two teams with intriguing fans.

I'd like to say I'm proud of my team, but you can't give away that many opportunities against a very good team like the Yankees and expect to have a chance. Out hit, out pitched, and out base run will lead to an 0–3 sweep. The Twins will not get to the next level until they get over their Yankee anxiety.

Some Red Sox fans aren't happy but I'm happy. You can't win the World Series every year and I would rather see them in it every 4 or 5 years. It makes it special. It's just a game. I leave it on the field just like the players do . I won't be watching any other playoff games now because the season is so long and I need a break from it. I need to get caught up on shows and movies I missed. Good luck to to teams still standing .
