RCN Corp. launched its “MegaModem Mach 20” service in Falls Church, Va., and Woburn, Mass.

The high-speed-data service offers speeds of 20 megabits per second downstream and up to 2 mbps upstream.

The MSO said MegaModem Mach 20 will be available April 1 in the remainder of the Washington, D.C., market and in Natick and West Roxbury, Mass. The service will be rolled out on a staggered basis throughout RCN's markets, the operator added.
