My 722K has been doing this intermittently; it will have a 2 min delay to start recording a program. A show is scheduled for 7-7:30 and it will record for 28 minutes. Or on the other side it will record for 31 minutes. It seems to be random and not just one channel or show, some record just fine. It’s driving me nuts. It has done this before, then stops then starts it again. I just set my default to add 2 minutes but does anyone have any experience with this?

Press the DVR button and Go into the options menu and set the length of recording time for your recordings.
You might be experiencing dishes version of Overlap Protection.
If you have all the tuners full it will clip some of the show the extending time is then overridden .there is no option that i found to disable it like in tvio
I did a lot of testing to find out the problem when i switch to dish.
I sent a email to the tech department but it is more of their NOYB customer
policy they did not respond to the email.

You can set the defaults for all timers or just certain timers to start 0 mins early and 0 mins late. That should solve your problem, but be warned that networks don't always start or finish their shows at the advertised time so you may miss the beginning of a program. This is why the default on Dish receivers is to start 1 min early and end 3 mins late.
