2 Hoppers no Joeys installed!

Just wanted to let everyone know, you can have 2 hoppers and no Joey's, I just did it. I work for an independant shop and I signed myself up for new service today. Came back a premium customer, what do ya know. Anyway, set it up as AT200, premiums and Blockbuster, 2HDtvs, 2hoppers and no Joey's. Reconnect accepted the order, and there was no problems at activation. Csr looked at the order, said "activating 2 hoppers?" I said yea and away we went. I didn't have to explain, beg or cajole in any way.

Just thought you would all like to know.

they haven't relented at all.

I believe the retailers have the ability to customize the order somehow. Schermann mentioned the process a month ago. People wanting the easy route to get these special configs should just go the retailer route.

Set up just like any other sale, reconnect (dish retailer order screen) asks how many hdtvs, dvr on how many TVs. It suggested 1 Hopper and 1 Joey. Clicked "customize" changed it to 2 hoppers and no Joey's and that was it. Check with local retailers if you can't get this done from Dish. No hoops to jump through here and now we know for sure.

Of course, the hardest part is dealing with someone else while doing the order, you had to deal with yourself. Too bad, we cannot all do it that way.

I also went to a retailer with just 2 hoppers on 3/16/2012

I had to go to a retailer to get a 2H/4J setup ordered. A the time DIRT (Maryb) could not enter the order. I bought another Joey to make it a 2H/5J install when the installer arrived.
