2 Dishes for E*, only 1 for D*

I have Directv, thinking of going to DIsh for my upgrade to HD, but it looks like that wil require another dish on my roof (for non-HD content- sorry don't know my dish models), some distance from my current one and I guess cable strung across the roof. My current dish position will be used for the HD dish. Can both be mounted on a common pole secured to my roof?

That will depend on line of sight. In what state/dma are you?
