The SlingPlayer Moblie app for the iPhone/iPod Touch was updated to version 2.1 today:
SlingPlayer Mobile for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad on the iTunes App Store

Here's the change log from the iTunes app page:
-Adds component cable video out support

-Several bug fixes

-Users with the Dish Network 922 Receiver or the Dish Network Sling Adapter should download Dish Remote Access from the App Store for free. SlingPlayer Mobile is not supported with those devices.

-To stream in High Quality (HQ) mode outside your home, you need at least 800 kbps of bandwidth from your Slingbox to your iPhone when using a Wi-Fi connection, and at least 500 kbps with a 3G connection. To see available bandwidth within SlingPlayer Mobile for iPhone, tap the SQ button, then the Options button. The current bandwidth displays in the lower left corner. You can test your home upload speed by using a web site such as Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test on your home computer; test download speed at your current location by using the free Speedtest iPhone app. The total bandwidth available to SlingPlayer Mobile for iPhone is limited to whichever is smaller: the upload speed, or the current download speed. If you don't have enough bandwidth for HQ mode, you can improve your viewing experience by pressing the SQ button to stream in Standard Quality.

The SlingPlayer Mobile for iPad app was also updated to version 1.1:

These are welcome updates as I know some of you have been asking about Video Out capability. Enjoy! :D

Another round of updates! (DISH's mobile dev's must have been busy these past couple weeks.)

DISH Remote Access for iPhone/iPod Touch has been updated to version 2.3:
DISH Remote Access for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad on the iTunes App Store

-More stable video viewing

-User interface enhancements

-Bug fixes

And the DISH Remote Access for iPad app get's a corrisponding update to version 2.4:
DISH Remote Access for iPad for iPad on the iTunes App Store

(Change log is the same, this is not a typo)

-More stable video viewing

-User interface enhancements

-Bug fixes

Now how about showing Android some love DISH!

Looks like they finally fixed the problem with having to manually put the DVR in Dual Mode (with the button on the receiver) to view recorded events with the app. Now it automatically switches from Single to Dual Mode when streaming to the app, then when not streaming it goes automatically back to Single Mode and recorded events are playable as well as live tv (at least for me).
