What the hellk is 1080BC ? I heard 10000BC, or 1080P LOL but NOT 1080BC !
Ha! My lowly 622 got 10kBC 1080p on 9/1. Not that I care to spend a dime on it. What the hell is going on here again. Some folks have it, others don't or maybe never will! I guess we can look forward to many months of $2.99 specials til they figure it out.... I wonder just how hectic or smooth DirecTv's offering will go when they offer up 1080p.I got that email too. It's worthless to me, as my 722 STILL doesn't have any 501's/VOD at all.
I've adopted that philosophy, not having the 1080 movies on my 622. So far, they're movies that I've seen, or don't want to see, so Dish is actually saving me from myself by not giving them to me.
Plus, my 1080p TV did not "qualify" to even watch it.
I'll look for your append in the morning but all I can say is that's a stretch. I can say from my experience, that 1, 2 and 4 aren't applicable. FWIW, I have one TV and run the DVR in single mode. I only hook my EHD when I want to watch an archived movie or archive from the DVR to the HD. My phone line is always connected as well as my Broadband. I just hope they figure this all out or modify what they expect a 1080p capable TV to be.Got a call from my Contact at dish, and they had me:
1) disconnect my EHD
2) Disconnect my Broadband
3) remove the other receiver from the dish comm list
4) disconnect phone line
Now we see if 10,000BC shows up between 0200am and 1000am CDT.
