1000.4 Help

I have a 722 and decided to try a 1000.4 western arc, I get everything set up (the pole is plumb). I bring in 119 with good signal, check switch and only 119 but it is in the third box? Ok, so I move the dish east 9 degrees, check switch 110 in the third box? Any suggestions?

Missing some important info, first are you using a switch of any kind? Second what are the skew and elevation settings on your dish?

With 110 in box three you need to drop your elevation 6 degrees and go back west

No switches...skew at 65 and elevation at 29

Ok...I got 119 into box 1, has a signal level of about 74, but xx in the last two boxes. I mounted the dish in the same spot that I had my 1000.2.

In that case your skew is most definitely off, what is the zip code?

That did it...I double checked the manual the dish came with and it has a skew of 65...must be a misprint in their book...thanks for the help!!

Skew is 65 on eastern arc for that zip code

Set the skew and elavation the same as the .2 was.

Skew of 65 is for eastern arc. the book that comes with the dish has both settings for eastern and western arc.
