We picked up a chromecast 2 for really cheap ($20). My plan was to use it next summer for my Yankees games since Sling blue provides me YES network locally. Last year I was under a excellent cable promo, But that runs out in March. So How does the Chromecast function with sling TV?

Thats good information. Seems kind of stupid that VUE can only be watched at home. Even Dish ,Directv and my local cable allow remote streaming.

I guess it depends on if and what kind of devices you have or want. If you just want 1 room IMO Flex has way more to offer at $30 Than sling TV does period. But if you want multiple rooms and 24 month commitment Flex can get expensive. SlingBlue or even VUE become better options if DVR isnt...

Sounds interesting. How many streams at once is Vue? 5? And besides Playstation what other devices work? Roku stick? Also is Playstation Network subscription also required? Because thats basically another $60 a year or essentially $5 per month.

It looks like a long tube thats either in your locked cable box outside your house, or its up on the pole. It allows internet while scrambling the channels. You should note, removing this ,(if you even can) would result in some serious trouble. Probably with law enforcement.[emoji6]

You just won't get anything from 2-100 since the filter doesn't allow such.

That doesn't matter. The Digital channels are in the 100 range. If you plug your Internet coax into your Digital ready TV, and channel scan, I garentee you will receive channels.

Same here with Blue Ridge, I can get all the locals in HD. They are just in the channel 100-130 range. Thats with Internet only subscription.
