Thank you. In my case it does matter. I'm located at the fringe of the spotbeam when it was on 129. Now that 129 is gone I can no longer receive them. I'm trying to locate where they are at so I can re-point a larger dish in hopes of once again receiving the locals.

Yeah that would be nice. I'm sick and tired of dealing with the slug that is the Hopper 2000. We could deal with it fine when it was on the non-Carbon UI. Once it was "upgraded" it's impossible to use.

My Hopper 2000 is still just as slow (maybe slower?) as it was when I was first cursed with the new UI.

I was just upgraded yesterday to the new software and to me the responsiveness is the same as the old software.

Well, DISH did indeed come through and put the new UI (U121) on my Hopper 2000. The good: I'd say that for most functions the responsiveness is pretty much what it was with the old software. I'm pleasantly surprised. Kudos to DISH's software people on their efforts to optimize the code...

I got another email from DISH saying they were going to upgrade me overnight. I wasn't able to check to see if that were true before I left this morning. I expect that it is though... 1. Why pay for a Hopper 3 when my old receiver was working perfectly fine? 2. The DVR fee will be higher...

I'm lucky enough to still be on the old Hopper UI. Dish has threatened to "upgrade" mine to the CUI on the 10th. Fingers crossed that that doesn't happen, just like when they threatened me last June.

There's also a block starting at 358 to 395 that also have no likes from DIRT. I'm at 368 and have yet to be contacted...

You can also add Multi-Sport to Dish America Silver and Gold. It's not possible though with the base Dish America package.
