    I'm planning to buy an HDTV receiver from Dish and can't decide between the 6000 or the 811 (unfortunataly the 921 is out of my budget). What are the pros and cons of the 6000 and the 811. I read that the 811 has some bugs and that the 6000 makes a lot of noise. All advices ar welcome.

    Keith, You are right, the prices got to high. I was interested before on an 811 but since dish ended the offer for just $100 I decided to buy one 6000 but the prices are just as hight as the 811 or more. The cost of an used 6000 is almost as high as a new 921. I would appreciate if any one...
