External Hard Drive Archive Bug Thread

My buddy at work had his 722 go bad, and Dish shipped him a replacement. He moved his external drive to the new one and was able to access his recordings without any problems too.

External Hard Drive Archive Bug Thread

Since you have the WD My Book, it should reliably spin-up when needed and spin-down when not accessed for awhile....just leave it powered on. I've been using mine this way since October, and haven't had to reboot either DVR or My Book. I am either sending shows to the external drive or...

External Hard Drive Archive Bug Thread

I moved The Big Lebowski to my 1TB WD drive (I think it's a MyBook) the other day without issues. I will try to check to see how big it was though, and report back. I'm pretty sure I saw another show that I had moved, which was something like 12+gig.

    Terk TV44 work with vip622?

DishAggie, This is what I'm afraid of. Did you already try this with your setup? If so, what was the result? Was there just "snow" on TV2, as the OP reported, or did it totally kill the signal to TV2? Just curious. Thanks.

    Terk TV44 work with vip622?

I purchased a Terk TV-44 about 2 months ago for use on my Dish VIP622 DVR, and have not gotten around to crawling up on the roof to install it. A buddy of mine has been using the predecessor to the TV-44 (I think it just has half the outputs), and has had really excellent luck with it. This...
