    Why does my receiver power off for no reason?

    Mine has done it four times in the past two weeks. Of course, it has never done it while I was watching, only when my wife or daughter were around. I think it has something to do excessive estrogen in the atmosphere, but I could be wrong. :D

    720P vs. 1080P

    Another thing to consider when choosing a TV's resolution is the size of the screen and the distance you will be sitting from the screen. For most, a screen 42" and under will be fine at 720p if you are sitting more then 8' away. YMMV

    D* puts HD on back burner?

    It sounds as if D* already has their HD plans in place with the new satellites. Perhaps the broadband is the next step? We've taken care of the HD and bandwidth issues in 2007, now what do we want to concentrate on in the future?
