WD Essential 500
I can offer that I have 2 of the WD MyBook Essential Edition 500Gbs on 2 622s and I have had none of the problems discussed. I know it was stated here that it spins down but it appears to me that it doesn't or else it just handles it better. I left both HDs on all day...
