International Channels Moving/ What equipment do I need?

There is one thing I am confused about. So if I get Dish 1000+ w/ the DPP44 switch, which Dish on my roof will I be replacing? The one pointing at 61.5 or the one pointing at 110/119?

International Channels Moving/ What equipment do I need?

I have America's Everything with the full HD and a bunch of internationals. So I can get rid of 2 dishes and just put up 1 Dish 1000+ with a dpp 44? Or do I just get rid of the dish NOT pointing at 61.5 because i know a lot of my locals are on it. Thanks for the responses.

International Channels Moving/ What equipment do I need?

Okay, here is my story. Last month, I was receiving errors whenever I ran a check switch. I had an SW-64 switch installed. Stupid old me didn't properly check everything, and went paid ~$200 to get a new switch installed (DPP 34?). Now this month, all of the international channels I watch...

They told me $200 for the 2nd dish? for a long time customer

This is completely absolutely offtopic - but if it makes you feel any better - i bought a brand new car less than a year ago with a $2000 Navigation system option. Now, in order for me to update my navigation system to the latest maps, i have to pay $190 for them to send me a brand spanking new...

They absolutly won't authorize my 622

i had a 721, my 622 came, i switched it out (already had 110, 119, and 61.5) all checks went well, called E* to activate, went to the tech support dept. and they activated it without any issues..

    Time limit for $99 622

Here's what sucks, if you order now and you get an install sometime in April, shouldn't they charge you 99 instead of 299 since its going to take that long anyway? I'm sure by the time April comes around, customers will get installs much faster since supply will probably be a lot closer to demand.

Dish totally screwed up my 622 work order

THey screwed me up too. I called Dish to order a 622. Wanted to replace my (owned) 721 with the 622. the first argument i got into was that the CSR said i had to send my 721 back. I tried to explain to her that I OWNED the receiver and it wasn't theirs. After 5 minutes of arguing/explaining...

Your 622... Shipped or with Installer?

I called to try to lease one and they wouldn't ship it to me...the lady said an installer HAS to come and install it since it's leased equipment. Is that normal?

DISH HD PPV over the Web

It's not the money I think. More the principle. If each of Charlie's 12 million customers only paid a buck each per month, thats an additional $144 million a year. They earn $144 million extra a year for not providing a service they say they do. But then again...it is just 1 single dollar. -=D

What a way to regain customers

when you lease an IRD is the contract with a specific plan or just as long as i keep service...i.e. i lease it, get HD Bronze, but 6 months in decide i want to downgrade to AT60...is that considered breaking commitment?

So what's the real deal on the "lease fee"?

My friend has a 622, 721, 311, and 508. We call E* to find out how much additional it would be to swap out the 721 for a 622. Here's what the lady said: $300 upfront fee for the privilege of leasing the equipment $20 monthly for HD programming. $6 DVR access fee; whatever that is $5 Extra fee...

What a way to regain customers

Each CSR gave me a different reason as to why i didn't qualify for the lease; 1 told me that my final payment to them was a few days late, and the second told me that since i only had an international package when i did have them (as opposed to AT60 or whatever) that was the reason. However, I...

What a way to regain customers

I disconnected Dish Network back in June '05. Now I am interested in rejoining them because I am interested in the HD they are offering. I called up (3 separate times just to make sure) and apparently, I don't qualify as a new customer for whatever reason. According to Dish, if I want an...

How do I know I am getting everything I am supposed to?

okay - i ended up calling the fox engineer (very helpful and nice guy) and he told me i should be getting the channel. he said i can either try tuning to channel 44 because my tv might not map it to 5-1, i can use an antennuator (from radio shack) because my signal might be too STRONG, or i...
