    Ya I've tried to reset it several times. There is something about the old software and that it has been off stream for so long that is messing it up - If you can find the other method - corrupt NVRAM, please let me know. Thanks

    I am trying to connect on legacy Twin LNBF. I actually have 2 of these. I bought a second one when the 3800 did not work. But the problem appears to be the 3800, because my Twin LNBFs work with my 311 receiver.

    Setting up a "new" echostar 3800 never been used with blue card with Dish 500 legacy Dual LNBF. Reception is 70-80 on 119 and 90 on 110 sat. Switch will not set up correctly - displays 119 - odd X 119 - even, 110 odd/even all OK. Only get the Dish channel. The box will not upgrade...
