    Good news from Guatemala. With a few adjustments in dish position, we are now getting most of the odds with 1.8m antennas. Still some channels missing, but getting east and west cost networks without problems. I guess we should wait until after 11/9 to make the decision to move to a 2.4m dish.

    We are getting around 50% signal strength on odd transponders.

    DTV 8 Problem Still no signal on odd transponders here in Guatemala City. We have conducted tests with 1.2, 1.8 and 2.4m antennas. We still pick-up most of the odd transponders with the 2.4m, with lower signal strenghs though. :(

    Reporting from Guatemala, CA. Also lost about 50% of channels since 12am Oct. 13, 2005. Has the Directv 8 satellite been activated? It was supposed to be operational in early fall. Some people here are blaming the problem to the "fall equinox", is this possible?
