Two HR20's with no response to the Remote!

I use a small eyeglass lens cloth as a drape over the sensor on the front of my H20 to block out the interference from my Sharp Aquos LCD. That way the remote still works and I don't have to make any adjustments to the Sharp.

    H20-600 has flipped out!

D* sent me a replacement when my H20-600 started rebooting about six weeks ago. The replacement was the H20-100 and it has worked perfectly. They charged me 19.95 for shipping with credit back on my bill. Swap it out. It won't heal itself.

    Directv HD PQ on FOX

I thought KTVU channel 2 looked horrible when I caught part of the Panthers-Dolphins game last night through my H20. Normally, HD locals have looked excellent via D*.

    H20 = J-u-n-k

I started with two H20-600s the first week of January. Neither is hooked up to OTA. One of the units started rebooting about a month ago. The picture would just go to white snow and the most horrible high-pitched whine would start pouring out of my HT speakers causing me concern for the...

H20 does some glitching and looses sound

I have HDMI hooked to both my Sony LCD projection and my Sharp LCD panel and find an audio lag on both sets when changing channels. There was no audio lag when I was using component connection to my LCD projection. I probably should go back to component, at least for my projection set in the...

? on H20 and HDMI output

Or an even less expensive HDMI cable at monoprice dot com. Good quality and great price. Monoprice and others also offer DVI-HDMI adapters and cables that are HDMI on one end and DVI on the other. Just don't go spending big bucks.

? on H20 and HDMI output

Monoprice is the place to go: 3 foot HDMI cable at a fraction of B&M stores. Works like a charm for me.

HDTV locals on satellite - a horrible mistake?

I just switched to D* after three years with E* because I can now get my locals in HD. I had no other source for local HD. I'm too far for OTA and my local cable company, Charter, may not offer it in my area for years to come. D* plan will work. They'll gain subscribers and bring in more income...

    DirecTV MPEG4 Rollout to begin

I'm in the San Fran DMA and currently a subscriber to E* standard definition. Who gets priority for the new D* HiDef receivers, current subscribers or new subscribers?

Charter HD in my area? Who knows?

Guess it's just me and the crickets in here. So much for this forum.

Charter HD in my area? Who knows?

I have called Charter every other month for the past year asking when HD would be available here on the Central California coast (I live on the fringes of the SF Bay Area). Responses have been: in March, don't know, negotiating with the locals, next year...In the meantime, I have SD E*. When...
