    From DirecTV $99.00 cost of client (they call it a "receiver"). 50.00 activation charge. 6.00 extra monthly for rest of my life. WHAT A RIPOFF! Probably will do without TV in garage.

    While tooling around in the menus I found a "Add a Client" tab. Looked pretty straight forward. Think I will get a new client and try it myself. How hard can it be? Thanks for the info.

    Have no idea what swm means. That's the problem with abbreviations. It was installed by DirecTV tech if that's what you mean.

    If I get a C41-100 client from someplace other than DirecTV, do I still have to get them involved or is it just plug and play?
