    Alright, update. I have all the hd channels working, which is an improvement, but now, my local channels have disappeared. Help! im using the my original box, and refreshing the signal on directv.com seems to have fixed the hd issue. Now my local channels are gone.

    I just ran a second line, just to see if by chance that does anything... I'll keep you guys posted. Thanks for all the feedback... I'm determined to get these HD channels to work!!

    Yes, we definitely have access. The other receiver in the house works. Also, yes, the receiver is set to show the HD channels. I see them on the guide, but when I try to view, that's where the issue is.

    Hi Guys, Sorry for any confusion. I'm completely new to to this. Signal Strength for 101 is: 99c and 103bc I get: Yes - I get the error message 771 on the HD channels. I have two tuners available, but am only using Satellite 1 for the time being. Hope this helps
