I have not changed any thing from the original set up. I originally went with Comcast Digital Phone and I had problems with the daily call. I called Comcast tech support and a day later I was completing the calls. I think they adjusted the throughput or speed.

VOIP no problem I am using Comcast high speed and Vonage. I had to do the origonal set up over a land line. Connected to Vonage afterwards and I make my daily calls with out any problems.

It sounds like your dish may be loose in one of it's axis. When you get a chance climb up and give it a wiggle test to see if you have any slop.

I am using a H10 with a hdmi cable to the dvi input on my set and the picture is great. I would try a hdmi cable and if it does not improve then go for another receiver.

Hdmi I use the hdmi output on my 65 inch Mitsubishi and the picture is output in 480p, which puts out a good picture. I had tried a D10 on the same set and was very disappointed in the picture quality. Yes, using a HD receiver makes a big difference.
