    Joey2 forgets remotes

Starting with 40.0 remotes paired and working with Joey2, overnight the Joey shuts down. Next day, turn on Joey, remotes no longer work. To get the remotes to be recognized again, I have to manually unpair them, then re-pair them to the Joey.

    Three Dishes?

I have three 1-meter Winegard dishes, one for each of the Eastern Arc satellites. Signal strength ran 70's to 90's. Got Hopper 3 this week, and the installer put up the 1000.2 hybrid dish, and tied in the 77 deg. 1-meter. That lowered the signal strength to 50's - 60's on the 61.5 and 72...

    Multiple Dishes?

I understand that the Slimline would work on its own, but the reason for the individual 1-meter dishes is to maximize signal strength by pointing each one to its own satellite. (I did this with Dish, just wondering if the Slimline allows access to its signal combiner or if a separate multiswitch...

    Multiple Dishes?

I'm switching from Dish to DirecTV soon. My existing config. includes three 1-meter dishes, going into a multiswitch, plus a 4th, currently unused, 1-meter. Is it possible to reuse my existing dishes in a similar way? DirecTV ("corporate") tells me I'm scheduled for an install with a dish...

    Stalled "Integrity Check"

OP : The "View Counters" test shows "Fsck: 1 : 5/07 3:38am". What is "Fsck"? Does it refer to my EHD or the receiver's hard drive? Thanks. P.S. - The "Fail FS Count" is 0.

    Stalled "Integrity Check"

Turning TV on late at night (about 2:00 a.m.), an "integrity check" message appears saying not to turn off the receiver, and that the test can take up to 10 minutes. Several weeks ago, this test actually took 34 min., and is now up to 75 minutes. Any ideas of what's going on, please? Thanks.

    No BlockBuster (Broadband Problem)

Scott - I think our posts crossed. Did you read my post about the DPP44 Switch?

    No BlockBuster (Broadband Problem)

Studying the wiring diagrams again last night, I'm thinking my broadband problem might be because I have a DPP44 switch (connecting three 1-meter dishes). All of the diagrams with a switch in the mix used the HIC. BTW, the installer surprised me when he said he had to run a separate coax for...

    No BlockBuster (Broadband Problem)

Just had a Hopper & 1 Joey installed today. Everything looked okay when the tech left. But when I tried BlockBuster, it said I needed to hook-up a broadband connection. But it already had an ethernet cable hooked up and showed green across the network settings. I tried all the usual stuff...

    Adding 4th Satellite?

Would adding 129 to an Eastern Arc installation (via DPP44) gain any channels? Specifically, I'd like to get HD feeds on some of the western (time-shifted) channels. Would 129 be the best choice for adding a 4th satellite? Thanks.
