    Pansat 9200HD died

Thanks guys. My 9200HD is back up & running! First I changed the big cap, C5, but no joy. I then changed all six of the 2200uF/10V caps and that did the trick. It looked as though C11 was the culprit. After I removed it, I found some dried-up yellow goo underneath on the circuit board in the...

    Pansat 9200HD died

Last night my 9200HD died. First it crashed (not an uncommon event ;)), so I rebooted it and it never went past the boot stage. After 2 more tries, same thing. On the 4th try, nothing happened. No LEDs light, nothing. If I plug in the USB stick, it has a steady light. I tried unplugging it...

    Timer Recording w/Pansat 9200

Thanks for the reply FaT Air. It's still good for recording "live" I guess. I'm not looking to get a new receiver yet, but when I do it won't be a Pansat. The 9200HD seems to be an experimental prototype that someone said "OK, let's build 'em & ship 'em out" without them truly being a finished...

    Timer Recording w/Pansat 9200

Sorry if this has been discussed in another forum topic : Question : Has ANYONE ever successfully made a timer recording on a 9200? I have yet to...no matter what, the wrong channel is recorded. I've owned my 9200 for 1 1/2 years now and am used to its quirks (recently upgraded to...

Oprah shoots her mouth off about FTA

New member here, been doing FTA for one year now. I came across this feed once. It's a 2 channel feed used while taping her show that includes someone "live via satellite", like a family member on death row, etc. The accompanying channel on the same sat has the remote feed. If you watch the...
