I got it thanks. I used a different lo and sw setting and bang it worked . I was using settings that were given on another sight. I used 10750 lo and 12700 for sw.

I have been outside all day trying to get signals. I hooked up my linear ku to my 44inch dish and hooked it up to my 3100 reciever. ( i know I cant watch anything with this setup). just using the reciever for power to my sat finder. I ended up getting a good signal on transponder 7 ( 80% )...
