One more questions - sorry for all of the questions. This receiver is only 4 months old. Even though the receriver was purchased from a third party, will Dish replace it under warranty?

We did get a few inches of snow and ice. It didn't make sense that one 722 receiver works fine and the other is trying to acquire a signal.

I wanted to mention a couple other things. I can receive OTA channels fine and all of the menus and guides appear to be working properly. It's just when I try to view a dish network channel that I get an acquirring signal message. My other receiver does not have a problem.

I have a purchased 722 that is causing me problems. Earlier this week I received an overheating error message. Now the receiver just sits and tries to acquire a signal. I think it is fried. I've tried resetting it. Nothing helps. Is there anyway to repair it or am I out of luck?
