Yeah, the hr21s suck, but the hr22 and the hr23 suck even worse. I either complain until they replace, or look online for an hr20 or hr24.

Has anyone counted to see if that 100 hour number is actually correct? if 320 gb records 50 hours of hd, 640 gig, not 500, would be needed for 100...

Well... One thing to remember is, I have 9 receivers. On average 3 are in use when people are watching. Now I haven't had a time when nobody can watch recorded movies, but I'm anticipating it. It's not so much the size, it's adding more dvrs.

I've considered that for awhile (btw, samsung 1 tbs are better, plus microcenter has better sales, at one time 1tb samsungs were $40), but I've had issues with my dvrs before and don't want to void warranty.

Right now, I have: HR21 R22 R22 H24 H24 R16 H21 H21 D12 I'm gonna get a couple hr20s and an hr24, I'm wondering what the size of the hdds are... I can get the two hr20s cheap (Definately not the hr24), so I'm getting them first. This will be for MRV. I'll end up with: HR24 HR21 HR20 HR20...

... So is the hr20 compatible or not? I already have mrv, I found a good deal on an hr20 and wanted to know if it could work.

Could I use any type of 2 way splitter for that? Would that lower the quality of the signal received?

What is the hold up exactly? The best premium movie channels and we have this crap selection. And they choose to have hd ppv... Which begs the question of what is the point of having multiple ppv channels WITH THE EXACT SAME MOVIE, when if someone buys a ppv show, they can pick from any of...

I am currently having my SWM system done for whole home dvr. Can i connect DECA to just one hddvr on my home network and get DOD for all connected devices on whole home?

They are upgrading my r15 to an r16, my d11 to a d12, and my two h20s to h21s. Are the r16 and d12 actually compatible with swm? Of course my 2 h21s, my hr21, and my two r22s are compatible...

Would this work the same as deca, allow non dvr receivers to receiver dvr service? Or would it simply work with anything connected via ethernet?
