    Thanks. Yes I did a scan when the unit came back from repair and I now get 69 analog and 14 added dtv with channels like 86-10 and 86-13 etc... Unit is specified to only have a NTSC and ATSC.

    QAM? Can an ATSC tuner also pick up these hidden channels direct from cable? My 37 LCD does not list a QAM tuner. Is it possible when unit was repaired they added the latest now with a QAM?

    Yes, NYC... I have been able to get many; WCBS - 2, WNBC - 5, FOX and WABC. So I can get them with an attic mounted GE Antenna Outdoor Digital HDTV Futura I gotta believe I can do better with with CM product or other suggestion.

    Thanks.. pretty much my plan was the same.. to add a component. I was trying to avoid this the added component as the LCD has a an incorporated DVD so the install is real clean.

    One RF Connector Cable and OTA

    On ther rear of my LCD TV there is only one RF coax connector. Is it possible to combine the signal from analog cable and an OTA HD antenna. Currently, I use a switch to go from analog cable to OTA HD and the TV requires an auto scan with each switch from A to B.
