    The problem is dtv does not consider caller id a garunteed fuction.But If you raise enough cane about it they will usually replace the recievers.

    Not sure on which dmas to start with but employee accounts have it now.The current build as of this past tuesday is still a little buggy, some r22's are having a problem with it, but he one I have does not.

    You could possibly do that but it would depend on the tech that come out. The best way do it is upgrade to whole home.Mosttime they will upgrade incompatiable equipment.

    SWM8 standalone could be made to work hr24 on the swm side r15 on one of the legacy ports but with only one line to the r15 and set to single tuner would limit its functionality but the hr24 would be good to go

    Hr24's are noisy sometimes, and some tend to run warm. 124 is on the warm side but within spec.If dtv tech does a service swap you will sign a lease agreement, but it does not extend your contract terms. You are agreeing that when you end service with dtv you will return the reciever.
