    Is NTS still big in Ham Radio

    Locally, San Diego, there are nets on the repeaters and some HF that meet regularly but not much traffic gets passed. I guess its good to have the traffic nets as back up to other Ham emergency services. EdZ KG6UTS

    Got a Heathkit HW-32A

    Jeepguy, Nice Hot Water 32 station! I run the HW-12A on 75 meters for our local 'Vintage Sideband' net, 3895. The paper caps in the transceiver and the electrolytics in the HP23 have been replaced but other than that the set is original. The tubes are even original! The set gets good reports...
