I noticed that the TV Pool website is now gone, goes to some email service. I've received recorded telephone messages from them, but they are in Thai and my wife is now longer available to translate. Anyone else have an update?
I have TV Pool and they have channels dropping off too. I am going to call them Monday. Earlier they sent me a new dual LNBF and that got some stations back but they're dropping off too. If I find anything out
i'll post it here.
I surfed through all of the channels, a good mix of Thai TV, some news, movies, sports (watched a Thai stock car race), a lot of music video channels, a couple of religious. If they stay with the same quality and channels, may be a good deal.
signal quality and picture is good. the wife is watching it now and if I go channel surfing, it will not be pretty. I can probably check it tomorrow, there is a channel listing on their website, but I'll try to surf through it and let you know.
OK, I received the Tvpool box today, 6 Sep. Ordered on 1 Sep. Install was easy even for me. You must call Tvpool to activate, took a while to get through. Finally, Pang, recognized my # on caller ID and called me back. Got it set up after a couple of tries. I see 44 thai channels and...
Yes, their site is confusing and talking to their Eglish rep helped some. She said $150 for their box and w/3 free months of service for 45 channels and then $150 for a 1 year subscription. I have ordered their box from the Rep (she said their website didn't work (?)), should be here Friday...
2 days ago, I lost all reception for Thai TV. I had it on AMC 2/101 and Galaxy 19/97. Has something changed again? A can get other stations on other Satelites so I don't think it's my equipment, OpenBox S9. Can anyone help? Thanks
I received my Openbox from Ricks Satellite last night and hooked it up and it worked fine. I ordered another one today for my other system. Hopefully it will continue to work for a while. It has quite a few channels but I don't know what there is now as compared to before, I never watched it!
I just ordered an Openbox from Ricks Satellite for $139. He says he's tried it and it works on the Thai channels. He is also going to preprogram it for those channels.
Thanks for the info. To show my ignorance; is there a way to change the settings to get it or do i have to buy 2 new receivers? I currently have a STH SMP6200 and a NAT 400. Thanks for your info.
FTA Thai TV Changes?
Yesterday, 30 Apr 2011, we stopped receving pictures, but still got sound on 2 totally separate systems. Anyone know what's going on? New to the site so accept my apologies if this is in the wrong forum.
